I thought Epson debuted this model for a little over $2k in Japan a couple of months ago. They doubbled the prce in the US??? I would rather go with the Sony or the Pany 1080p for a couple of k's less. I would have jumped on this if it was in the 3K neighborhood, mainly for the HDMI 1.3 on this but my $ will have to go elsewhere. Besides is Epson even a decent product as far as a projector is concerned?
HP has had plenty of time to fine-tune its finger-friendly TouchSmart software, and now, its newest model, the TouchSmart 610, ushers in a fresh design, highlighted by a hinge that allows the display to slide down and lie nearly flat.
