Toshiba Portege R400 12-incher revealed
Among the fistful of products announced in the Bill Gates keynote was the Toshiba Portege R400, a 12-inch mobile PC that's constructed on Windows SlideShow technology and of course, is Vista-friendly. We haven't gotten much new info that we didn't know from last time: it's got 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and gigabit Ethernet. Unfortunately, we're still waiting on an MSRP and a full spec list.

Hey Guys - please keep us updated on this - can't wait to find out more - specs etc. I hope the video card they choose for the protege 400 will allow to drive at least 1 24" monitor, currently they max out at 1600x1200 - and 1920x1200 would be nice. If Toshiba does this right, they shoudl support dual monitor too.

what do you mean "built on sideshow technology" does that mean it has a sideshow screen on it?

Thanks Karan, looks like all the specs are on that site. Does anyone know if this baby will come to the EU as well?

Toshiba in Europe launched a cooler product site, well it's more like a teaser.
