It has a larger hard drive. If you upgrade the white model to match the black model specs, the black model is "only" 50 dollars more (notice the quotes). Personally I like the white model better.

No, there is no need to configure it to get a 2.16GHz model, these are three pre-configured models: - 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD, Combo Drive, white - $1099 - 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, SuperDrive (8x dual-layer burner), white - $1299 (not sure about this price, store is still down) - 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, Superdrive (8x dual-layer burner), black- $1499 (not sure about this price, store is still down)
