"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
What a joke..Clearly the Wii is not suffering shortages anywhere else except in the states. Why then are they shipping the other 60% to places where its not even in high demand. I just came from europe where you can practically walk in and buy a Wii anytime. Here in the states I see artificial scarcity. Which allows big name retailers to try to force you to buy 4 rubbish games in order to get a console and ebay is just full of overpriced Wii's. Online there are Wii bundles for 800 dollars..considering the price is 250 you have to be smoking something funny to justify that kinda price hike.
I'm not a big short sales exec at big N, but even I would think that maybe diverting more of that other 60% to the USA would not hurt other markets and would help them sell more consoles and more games which btw they get a license fee for. Just a thought I'm putting out there.
