Add wifi & a camera for video conferencing plus the games & I'm sold (like a Mylo that actually works right + plays games). Not a gamer but know Nintento's great about the "casual" user so it's more interesting than other options on the table.

No you mean add a camera, seeing as it already has wifi. I doubt they would remove wifi to put in a camera.
I'd say add a camera but remove a screen and a pad.

i am dismayed by the lack of quality games for the DS
Compared to the wii its honestly no where near as bad.....
I like most of the games made for the DS done by bigger name companies, (exluding a lot of the kiddy or cheaply made games of course).
As for the wii only about 2 games make my list and their first party titles by the big N. The rest just a bug ehhh for having to use the crap remote...

I hope it has a better screen or screens. Back in 05-06 I was all about the innovation piece but I'm slowly to become a graphics whore. I want the best of both worlds auuugghhh!!!!!!

I hope the screen (or screens) will be better. I am all about innovation but as time passes, what I hope wouldn't happen--happened. I am becoming a graphics whore. I play my PS3 or 360 on a 42" HDTV, then hitting the Wii it's like ooo.. yikes. How's your non-HD?
I'm pretty annoyed at low Wii graphics too - I have 37" LCD.
If you keep distance from TV, then it's more or less OK. But in gaming rage (e.g. WiiSports or Zelda) I often come closer to the screen and start seeing the huge pixels... Kind'a appalling.
No matter what form it may come with, I am sure we are not getting them this year. My guess is sometimes next March.
Wii's are STILL hard to find??? Better pick up a couple then... I see them fully stocked round my way, so perhaps can still make a buck on the bay.
Target has been carrying a whole lot. I see them in stacks behind their counter 1 outta 3 times I go there.
Oh thank god Walmart at least has a one-per-person policy now.

I know their target demographics don't overlap that much but if the DS was good/powerful/open enough then it might make the choice harder for some
