There's too many of these things on the market, it has become too much of a pain to keep track of what's what and what to buy, and keep track if within the week that you buy it a better one will be released that is basically the same but with a better .
Er, this has been the nature personal computer market for the last 30 years. Just take a punt and be happy that whatever you get meets your needs for the next 3 years. However, if you're not sure about these netbooks, chances are you don't need one.
Well sure computers get updated a lot, but netbooks is actually weekly, not just proverbially, and with changes that are often only minor like a new keyboard.. As for needing it, I'm not sure anybody ever really needs a netbook, a computer sure, and a notebook yeah, but a netbook? That's why they change more than usual, it's a fashion/fun item more than something you ever 'need'. At least that's my take on it.
