It's a netbook, if you don't like it don't buy it. This is a great option for people who have to travel around the country, with roaming agreements and VZW coverage you'll be able to get on the internet just about anywhere and not worry about whether wifi is there or not. I don't know where you people live who get wifi everywhere they go, but that's just not reality where I've travelled. Go through New Mexico and tell me if you get a wifi spot that isn't security enabled. Tethering is much slower than a pc card, some people claim to have up to 3mbps on their tether setup, I find that to be ridiculous and over exagerrated.
It's expensive, but if you want to be mobile and have a computer with internet, this is a great option. Not the best... but great.
