Dell's Adamo 'crazyhinge' XPS demonstrated on video
So, Dell finally revealed just exactly what was going on with its ultrathin Adamo XPS -- to an extent, anyway -- but there's always room for a little more detail, and that's where the folks at Zive Computer come in. This lovingly filmed video of theirs shows off all the physical intricacies of the XPS, the hinge in action from multiple angles, and even a bit of pretend typing on that odd-looking keyboard. Sure, we're still in the dark on plenty of specs, but we've already gathered enough on this thing to make it clear it's unlike anything else on the market. Hit up the read link for the video.

Gimmicky and the way the screen is inset combined with the hinge for keyboard and the overall design, vaguely reminds me of a child's toy. I'll pass.
I have no idea when you guys said it can't be use on your lap. What is the difference between your lap and the table? If it can stand on the table, It will stand on your lap. I also think there are a lot of spaces between your lap and the laptop so heat will not be a problem/
I am using an Adamo xps to type this comment. This computer is an amazing breakthrough in design, the first major design change in history for a note book computer. Since notebooks have been around, about 22 years, they have remained essentially the same. The Adamo has broken new ground. I find the computer to be amazing, easy to use, and of course uber thin. As far as cost goes, it is a reasonable at 1799.00, you don’t get the best specs, but if all you are doing is surfing the web, email and some simple programs it works fine. You can buy a Porsche that goes 170 mph, but really when are you going to use that power. Many laptop buyers purchase computers that have way more power than they will ever need or use. The Adamo xps, is very light, beautiful and thin. It is like tech art. So yeah, you pay a premium with Adamo as well as Sony ultra portables, and the Apple Air. When you use a computer daily, maybe you want it to be cool.
