I have a magic mouse. My previous mouse was an MX Revolution and I still have a VX Revolution for laptop use, so I have plenty of reference for comparison. The magic mouse is more of a finger mouse, so you don't really rest your palm on it. There's really no call for the hate-on. Personally I rather like the gestures as substitute for the scroll wheel and side buttons. That being said, I would also never use the magic mouse for any serious amount of gaming.
@tzuge Thank you! There's no need for that hate! I agree that it is not quite suited to gaming, although I can't quite point out why; Probably because of the right click. I used to use the Apple Wireless Mouse to play World of Warcraft. At first I had problems with it, but I somehow managed it. Definitely wouldn't use it for something more intensive though.
@tzuge I have a Magic Mouse, I am currently using it in Windows 7 which is not nearly as smooth as in OSX but it works with all basic functionality. I can say I've ordered a new mouse for gaming. This mouse is a pain in the ass in game. Slight slides of fingers attempt to zoom screen all the way in or out. Fingers get out of place and clicks register wrong(more user error). Although for web browsing in OSX its sweet. Three and four finger expose gestures can help you cruise around the os in a blaze.
While its tablet world topping pixel density, Tegra 2 silicon, and fresh to death OS certainly sound awesome, we had to get our grubby mitts on one to see if it's as good as its spec sheet would have us believe.

@tzuge Can I have your MX Revolution then, since you're obviously not using it :D
@onlymyrailgun
gaming wise, this mouse has repetitive strain injury written all over it.
@tzuge
.. or or CAD use. Or any heavy use like image manipulation.
