big is coming March 23rd, and like a good used car salesman, SanDisk has rolled out an inflatable superhero in its honor. What could it be? We honestly have no idea. SanDisk has already introduced
64GB SDXC cards and
the G3 SSD, condensed commercial FM into sugary syrup with
slotRadio, and generally exploited
NAND in every way imaginable. The company's not scheduled to introduce 128GB chips until 2011, and rewritable
3D flash is still years out. That said, SanDisk does have experience in the
portable audio/video realm, and that notch on our wide, cape-wearing friend does look
awfully familiar... Oh please, no, not
another blasted
tablet. We jest, of course, but what could a memory manufacturer possibly be planning that warrants such a teaser page?

Update: Looks like a 32GB microSDHC card has
been put up for pre-order. That's big, alright.

@Imran wouldn't that mean something...small? I mean, I get what you're saying, but I don't think they'd advertise a new addition to their "Micro" SD line as something "Big".

@Exbloder In that case then "Droid Does" need built in memory and much much more than 1/4th a gb of ROM. I don't see why people would think removable memory is a so called feature when you pay for it with such low ROM in the age of thousands upon thousands of apps

Yeah it does, my iPhone's been at 32GB for almost a year now, get up with the times.

After the huge lack of support for the View from sansa, it will be a cold day before I ever purchase anything from them.

@Wesscoast Actually, the release of a higher capacity sd card is a big deal. Micro SD has become the standard for phone and PMP manufacturers to enable end user memory expansion. It may not seem that important to you, but to alot of people who use devices with expandable memory or own Sansa stock, this is a big deal.

My guess is that it's a travel memory card reader/storage. It will copy/move the files from your smaller MC and store them.
Insert card, press button. All files are moved to the larger capacity flash memory in the unit. No computer need. Then later you can download (USB) to a computer.
The clue is "Memory Full".
If it's anything to do with SlotMusic I will pretty much hate SanDisk forever.
@thebolster I actually didn't mind slot music, DRM free songs for the same price as itunes, with music videos thrown in for free. Oh, and you get a free sd card. I liked it.
A much cheaper SSD drive. That's what they probably have for us.

Please let it be a new portable media player with 64GB capacity for about $150. I don't need it to run apps.
