Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
And guess what, it can also make phone calls if you hold it the right way.
@muol
Um no it can't. It's and iPod...
@muol
You just had to do it huh.... I think I smell a downrank coming your way. Ruuunnnn!!!!
@hexoDAT64
An iPod widely rumored to feature a 'front facing' camera for... wait for it... Face Time Video Calls!
So... I guess it just might be able to make some 'calls'.
@DaHarder Actually, it's not exactly a "call"
As the 4.1 software showed email based FaceTime invitation
Anywho, dual cameras would also mean built in microphone (YES!); a feature I had been waiting for since the first iPod touch. Retina display will be awesome on it. I'm really hoping to see a 5MP camera like the iPhone 4 considering the fact that they managed to squeeze in a really good camera (if not the best) into iPhone 4 which is only about 0.5pm thicker than the current iPod touch.
@statickeith Wouldn't really say the best camera but I get the point.
