i dont understand why no Large tech company isnt scooping these guys up and releasing the project under their own brand. Notion Ink has done all the leg work already.
Cmon lenovo,Asus,Nec,Sony etc get on the ball..at least acquire the tech.
@neeko18 WHAT technology? Seriously .... a screen that they obviously have issues with getting out the door in a plastic case, wake up it's like telling them to scoop up the Courier technology ....
"Computers!? Just some fancy pants typewriter hooked up to a TV thing!" "Cars? Just some metal on wheels." "The radio? Just an electric noise maker!" Light bulbs?! Don't get me started on light bulbs. Just gas in metal and glass."
@CDice I don't recall saying anything about where the screen came from, but okay! I'm sorry, I got something incorrect that I never said was true, agreed with, or acknowledged in any way.
You and adam implied that the screen was owned by Notion Ink. Adam implied it by referring to the screen, and criticizing the idea of buying it from Notion Ink (who don't own it), and you by criticizing Adam for disregarding the Pixel Qi display, and comparing such criticism to those directed at radios, computers, other important inventions. In other words, your criticism was based on Adam's mistaken belief, the assumption that Notion Ink somehow has the final say in Pixel Qi's future.
correcting people just to correct them is really annoying. i dont see how your comments have anything to do with discussion, so move along.
in RELATED news i would love a large silicon valley company to scoop these guys up. however i feel like if that happened it would only delay release further. like the hp/palm slate debacle.
i wouldn't mind this company really coming into their own either. i would love a specialized tablet manufacturer to burst out onto the scene and release a variety of quality non iOS tablets.
Following the commercial success (and technical disappointment) of the original Wildfire -- which featured a miserly 528MHz CPU and QVGA display -- HTC has returned with the Wildfire S.

Wow, when you put it like that...

"Cars? Just some metal on wheels."
"The radio? Just an electric noise maker!"

@Dafrety
Um, to both of you, the screen is made by an Pixel Qi Corp, an American company. Not Notion Ink.

You're thinking too much into his statement. Every other person knew what he meant.
