palmOne to make a Windows Mobile-powered Treo 650 for Dell?

We hate to keep feeding the rumors about palmOne making a Windows Mobile version of the Treo 650, but latest juicy bit of gossip going around is that Dell has been trying to get palmOne to take the plunge so they can resell the Treo 650 to their corporate customers. Dell's gotten knee-deep with their line of Axim Pocket PCs, but obviously they know which way the wind is blowing and have realized that they need to get in on that sweet smartphone action. So why not just partner with the best around rather than develop their own, right? Just a rumor for now, but with palmOne struggling to get profitable we wouldn't be too surprised if they were seduced by Dell's millions.
