iPod Photo problems?

Maybe not all that surprising since an autopsy revealed that apart from the color screen that its insides are almost identical to those of the 4G iPod, but iPodlounge confirms that the new 60GB iPod Photo has the same audio defect (mainly, audible static and intereference whenever the iPod's hard drive is accessed) that they found in the 40GB iPod after its release a few months ago. Apple still hasn't responded to that problem yet, either.
