Sharp's 45-inch LCD TV hits on August 1st

It's slightly dubious that they're claiming this is the world's largest LCD TV—it'll only hold the title for a little while until Samsung's slightly bigger model comes out—but Sharp's new 45-inch LCD TV, the AQUOS LC-45GX6U goes on sale here on in late August. We also feel obligated to mention that the resolution on this thing is an astounding 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
