The HarmonyExpress: Add virtual 5.1 channel sound to your laptop

Yeah, the soundcards on our all four of our laptops are crap, and we're probably not going to ever do anything about, but if you are looking for a compact way to add 5.1 channel surround sound to your lappy, Miglia is coming out with the HarmonyExpress, which is about the size of a USB flash memory drive. The only thing is that it's "virtual" 5.1 output, and they don't shine a heck of a lot of light on what precisely they mean by that, so caveat emptor, etc.
Anyway, the HarmonyExpress is both Mac and PC friendly, and should be out on the 15th of this month with a retail price of $59.
