Bias in reviews

A few months back there was a big fuss over biased reviewing for Driver 3. Magazines that were granted an "exclusive" gave a far better review than those that didn't. As someone who has worked in the industry, I can say with firsthand knowledge that a certain amount of pressure is applied, especially to smaller publications, to gloss over flaws and to give bad games at least average reviews.

Someone with entirely too much time on their hands has trawled a bunch of reviews from various places, and charted them all to highlight who gives the best reviews to who gives the worst. Consider it a handy guide for the holiday season as to which magazines you can trust for information, so you don't wind up with the video game equivalent of a lump of coal in your stocking.
