Ubisoft to be saved by Eidos?

What a tangled tale. It's like a soap opera for gamers. Electronic Arts want Ubisoft. Ubisoft see EA's machinations as hostile, and snuggles up to Eidos in an attempt to fend of Electronic Arts. Wasn't this the plot of a John Hughes movie?

Ubisoft may buy Eidos, but are currently trying to organize their defences. You know, hand out the ammunition, load up the boiling oil, etc... So we now have a three way love triangle going on.

 If the movie rights have been optioned, they should cast Meg Ryan as Ubisoft...
