NHJ's D'zign DV-5 MPEG-4 camera
You can tell a product category is starting to reach mass-market status when a manufacturer like NHJ — best-known for the aptly named Che-ez! line of low-end digital cameras — starts producing their own versions. Case in point is the hard-drive based MPEG4 digital video camera.
Sure, you can go out and buy a JVC Everio, with its 4GB
microdrive, near-DVD quality and 10x optical zoom, for about $1,100. But why bother when you can spend less and pick up NHJ's 2GB D'zign DV-5 instead? Let's just say that if you're happy with your Che-ez!, go right ahead and pick up a DV-5 when it lands in your neck of the woods.
