The Sims turns 5

Has it really been five years?! Five years since girlfriends and wives around the world finally GOT
this gaming thing and had a title to call their own? Five years since I built my sim a house, let my sim in, then removed the door... Good times.

By now, The Sims is sneered at by a lot of people, but it's worth noting this anniversary for one reason. The Sims was the title to topple the legendary Myst from the top of the all time sales charts.

Happy birthday, Sims! A gaming phenomenon.
