Gameloft has War of the Worlds

Unless you've been living under an especially big and comfortable rock, you probably know that there is a little movie coming out this year based on the classic War of the Worlds. It's directed by some guy named Spigelborg, and it stars the guy from Top Gun who isn't Val Kilmer.

I jest, of course. War of the Worlds is probably going to be the biggest movie of the year. If you can find it in yourself to care, then you may like to know that for mobile gaming, Gameloft will be your dealer. The company are looking forward to, quote, "capturing the essence of the movie". So I guess you'll be able to put Tom Cruise in your pocket.

Wonder if it'll be as good as the TV show was?
