First look at CMF-200 and CMG-200 media players from Carry Media

Looks like these products don't yet exist — let's at least see an extruded model instead of Illustrator mockups —
but dapreview has a good look at the proposed specs of some upcoming portable media players from Carry Media, a Taiwanese company better known for its cameraphone-style CMOS sensors than for media players. From the looks of the mockups, the company is planning a couple of media players, the CMF-200 and CMG-200, that will play MPEG-4 and DivX
files, and will also shoot VGA-quality MPEG-4 videos along with stills ranging from 1.3 to 3.2 megapixels. Looks like they're trying to leverage some of that CMOS production to build a brand. Of course, as dapreview points out, we have no idea whether these models will "ever make it to anywhere." We think chances are they'll show up in Taiwan, China and Hong Kong in limited quantities; beyond that, it's anybody's guess.
