Logitech's two new Quickcams for notebooks

The latest in the Quickcam for Notebooks line of webcams will shoot VGA video at 640 x 480, though you'll have to pony up for the $59.99 "Deluxe" version if you want to pull down 1.3 megapixel stills. Apparently, crippling still shot functionality in the lower end model ($39.99) seems like a good business plan to extract another Jackson. Both models include software-based face tracking and a spring-loaded clip for clinging to your laptop's screen. Both cams are compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 and will ship with a protective case. We'll see them roll out come April Stateside,
while our comrades across the Atlantic won't get in on the action til May.
