Epson AcuLaser C2600 switches from black to color

Inkjet printer users have been accustomed to the pain convenience of swappable toner cartridges for years;
swap out that standard color cartridge and insert a photo-color one when you want to print pics. Now, Epson brings the thrill of cartridge switching to customers who want the speed and quality of laser printers. The Epson AcuLaser C2600 is billed by the company as the first laser printer that can switch from black to color printing with a cartridge swap.
The printer will do 30 pages-per-minute in black and 7.5 in color, and will set you back over $900. Consider this a printer for businesses that want a reliable black-ink laser printer, but need to do color for presentations without having to buy a separate printer for the purpose — and presumably employ a mailroom flunky who can swap the carts on demand.
