QuickerTek announces 1 Watt Wireless Tranceiver

Do you find Airport's 100 ft range too limiting? QuickerTek just introduced their 1 Watt Transceiver (1000mW), which allows you to extend your wireless network range more than a mile. It's compatible with AirPort and AirPort Express base stations and also offers point-to-point and multipoint functionality when used with a directional antenna.

The $400 kit comes with the required mounting hardware, cables, power supply and a utility CD. No drivers are required and the transceiver is Tiger-compatible.
