AmTech lays down two scenarios for anticipated 2GB flash iPod

Oh, you know how we love analysts here at Engadget. We love that American Technology Research pronounced that the
aforementioned 2GB flash iPod would either be a "slightly more advanced iPod shuffle" or a "new form of iPod mini." Here we were, thinking it might look like the
eMac — glad to be set straight. They say they lean towards the former, with the new shuffle model gaining a screen but not a click wheel, and coming in at a price point of $149. The other interesting thing they note (other than a bunch of ass-coverin' with other potential scenarios) is the expectation that Apple will incorporate flash memory into iPods other than the shuffle, because the company realizes "there could be a limit to the number of songs a user may want to carry at one time." Call us crazy,
but doesn't it seem like that "limit" is on its way up, not down? Are there really people out there who say, "No! No more music, please!" Are they the same folks who are buying
this phone? Send us a tip if you meet one, maybe we'll do an interview.
