BenQ's new display line-up
BenQ unloaded a ton of new displays at the Computex trade show in Taipei this week, including a DLP projector, a 17-inch LCD monitor, a 72-inch DLP rear-projection TV, and bunch of LCD TVs coming in sizes between 20 and 46-inches. The projector has a 1,280x720p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 6,200:1 contrast ratio, 1,000 ANSI
lumens brightness and weighs 9kg. Most of the LCD TVs are HDTV-compatible and have an 8ms response time, 600 nits brightness and 600:1 contrast ratio. And as for the big 72-inch RPTV that we know you're all most interested in,
BenQ says it is the slimmest DLP RPTV available, with a screen-to-depth ratio of 6:1. It's also HDTV compatible and has a resolution of 1,280x720. They haven't decided when they're going to launch it though, so you still have some time to save up for it. All the other displays should be hitting the market fairly soon at appropriately hefty prices.
