Novatel's Merlin S620 is Sprint's 2nd EV-DO wireless card

Technically they're selling a 3G wireless card for a 3G wireless network that you can't officially use yet, but Sprint rolled out their second EV-DO wireless laptop card today. Yeah, you can still use Novatel's Merlin S620 with their slower 1xRTT wireless data network (just like you could with the
AirCard 580 from Sierra Wireless they started selling back in March), but at least this time around we know that they're probably just weeks, rather than months, away from
launching EV-DO service in as many as 39 cities.
If you want to be raring to go on Day One, Sprint's selling the Merlin S620 for $49.99 after various rebates and credits when you sign up for a new service agreement.
