Hana Host MP3 Player bullet - audio player with USB host mode

While most of the specs of the forthcoming Host MP3 Player bullet from Korea's Hana seem fairly good, if not overwhelming — MP3, WMA, OGG, FM radio, FM transmitter — it does have something unusual that may make it worth a second look (and, no, we're not talking about the bullet shape or the light-up docking cradle). According to the specs, the docking cradle can function in USB host mode, allowing it to play back any compatible files stored on any USB drive, which opens some intriguing options; pair this with a cheap 120GB
external USB drive for massive amounts of music without having to spring for a less-capacious hard-drive based player
(this, of course, assumes that both the bullet and the external drive are portable and cheap enough to make this worthwhile). Specs are vague, but we assume it doesn't use USB On-the-Go, since host mode is USB 1.1, not 2.0. We'll be sure to find out more if and and when this ships.
