Beatmania comes to PS2

The Beatmania series has been running for many years, going back to the PS1. Amazingly, unlike that other rhythm game, Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania has never seen a US release. If you wanted it, you had to import a Japanese version, and there have been many.

Not anymore. A US release is coming. For those who have never had the pleasure, this is not another mat dancing game.
Consider it DDR for a game controller. (You can use a gamepad, or buy specialist controllers.) Though really, that's a gross simplification.

There mere fact alone that Beatmania will get a release we don't need to translate is cause for celebration.
