GTA homicide in Japan

Wow... Quite clearly this fifteen year old Japanese kid had some serious issues. Quite clearly GTA was the least of the problem. Of course that won't stop them making the link, because after all, he was a fan of the game.

The teenager killed his parents, then blew up their apartment to cover up his crime. I don't ever recall having to murder my parents in the GTA series. Perhaps I skipped that mission.

Of course, the tenuous connection will still be made. If he played the game, he must have been influenced. Just like Columbine was Doom's fault. What are the odds that when the talking heads get on TV condemning 25 to Life now, that someone will mention this as clear evidence that we're all killers in training?
