Germany's Teufel to launch iPod speaker dock

If you ask us, the iTeufel speaker system looks a lot like the
Bose SoundDock, though with Bose's signature curves replaced by a somewhat boxy Teutonic design (and, no, we're not suggesting anything beyond the basic look; no lawsuit-bait here). The speaker system works with 3rd and 4th Gen iPods and iPod minis, and includes a remote — as well as a line in, just in case you've got some other audio player you'd like to hook up. It's expected to be out in Europe this August, priced at € 399 — which seems like a bit much to us, considering that similar units like the SoundDock go for about $299. Then again, Teufel speakers do have their fans, so if you're into them, this may be for you.
