Griffin's iTripLCD

iLounge has an early look at Griffin's new iTripLCD, an update to their popular line of
iTrip FM transmitters for iPods designed to compete with newer units on the scene like XtremeMac's
AirPlay. As the name suggests, the biggest new feature on the iTripLCD is the integrated backlit LCD screen, as well as a suitably shiny knob for tuning stations. iLounge is reserving final judgement until they receive an actual production unit for review, but they seem fairly impressed with it, digging the iPod-matching design and saying the sound quality is about comparable to a cassette adapter. Look for it to be released in August for around $40.
