Viewport USB to VGA adapter for Windows

This looks like it may be a better alternative to
Tritton's SEE2 USB 2.0 adapter that does the same thing —
provides a VGA/SVGA signal over USB so you can add a second monitor to a desktop or notebook. The Tritton is limited to 800 x 600 resolution at 32 bit color, but the Viewport for the same price ($99) will do 1280 x 768 (and will do 1280 x 1024 at 16 bit color). The Viewport offering is Windows only, but
Tritton also makes one of these for the Mac.
