Blue Tango: wireless audio from your laptop via Bluetooth

Viperlair had a looksee at the Blue Tango Classic from Innovation Lab, a solution for streaming audio from your PC
or Mac laptop wirelessly via Bluetooth. For about $150 you get a small thumb drive-sized USB transmitter, receiver,
power brick, and included stereo RCA and 1/8-inch to stereo RCA cables. They found the device easy to install and use,
but were down on the range which was more on the order of about 12 feet than the 30 feet expected. Since the solution relies heavily on software processing, your machine will take some amount of performance hit, as well — enough that they wouldn't recommend this as a solution for gamers. Overall they gave it thumbs up for ease of use, space saving and clutter prevention, and while the drawbacks of range, stereo-only sound, CPU hit and high price don't knock the device out of consideration altogether, you may want to spend some time checking out your other options before plunking down for it.
