Motion-controlled remote iPod interface
Those of us who live in places where it's winter climate more often than not will grok this — an interface for controlling your iPod remotely based on your general body movements, so you don't have to extricate precious extremeties from their warm hiding spots within gloves, mittens, et al. Peter Tyser has built a prototype of an interface that uses an accelerometer to detect the user's motion, and a microprocessor to interpret the movements and send the appropriate commands to the iPod remotely. Potentially very useful, but you'll have to be extra careful when dancing so as not to unintentionally interrupt your playlist.
