FM radio, headphone amp for iPod mini

Many iPod owners (or would-be iPod owners) would like to see an iPod with an integrated FM tuner (myself included). It doesn't seem like Apple is going to answer this call, however, but some third party developers are more than happy to do so.

iLounge takes a look at the mini FM, an FM receiver for the iPod mini by Digital Lifestyle Outfitters. It sits right on top of the iPod, features a backlit display and controls thoughtfully placed on the top. There's no cord to get in your way, and it's much smaller than receivers produced by some other companies. It draws its power from the iPod's battery, and features a headphone amplifier (think about that one for a second).

Final retail information is unavailable, but expect a price tag around $50US. The Mini fm should ship before January.
