Two LCD Projectors introduced by Hitachi

Hitachi just added two new front projectors to the one it already has; the EDPJ32 is an EDTV model while the HDPJ52 is an HDTV model.  Front projectors are typically more expensive than their rear projector counterparts, but you gain flexibility in terms of screen size and smaller footprint.

Retailing for $1,500 and $4,000 respectively, both projectors are LCD-based and feature 3:2 film processing. The ED model outputs a screen resolution of 854 x 480 while the HD unit brings the res up to 1280 x 720. There aren't any pics of the new models yet, so we'll tease you with the PJTX100 from Hitachi, which was their sole front projector until today.
