Immersion pitches force-feedback LCDs to gamblers

Immersion Corp.'s
TouchSense force-feedback LCD displays have made another appearance, this time in Las Vegas, where the company is pitching them to the gambling industry. The idea is that force-feedback can enhance the video poker or slots experience, presumably by adding the feel of cards being dealt or wheels spinning. We imagine it could also deliver a blow to losers who've squandered their stake but refuse to give up the machine.
