WiFi DLP projector with DayLight View
Panasonic is showing off some projectors in Dubai that we haven't seen before. It doesn't appear that these models are limited to the Middle East since similar units are on Panasonic's site.
I can't match up them up by exact model number, but the specs appear to be the same. Most intriguing to me right now is the PT-LB20NTEA, which is dubbed the PT-LB20NTU here in the U.S.
From what I can gather, the PT-LB20NTEA is a 720p projector powered by a .75-inch DLP display chip. Two great features are the integrated 802.11b\g networking and the DayLight View technology. DayLight View uses an ambient light sensor to optimize color and brightness depending on the environment conditions. The wireless networking function comes in handy too; using the projector in "Motion Streaming" mode, you can stream video from a PC on a wireless LAN. List price is $2,700, which isn't bad when you consider the added features.
