SanDisk to roll out TrustedFlash secure flash cards

There's a reason the idea of buying music pre-installed on flash memory cards hasn't caught on, and it has less to do with the lack of secure, DRM-based solutions for storage (of which there are more than enough) than with lack of consumer interest in yet another new hardware-based format. That's relegated the prerecorded solid-state media market to novelty and niche products like the
Juice Box. But that hasn't stopped developers from trying to come up with new ways to enter this non-market, and the latest is SanDisk, which has partnered with ecommerce company Click&Buy to create the TrustedFlash platform.
