Toshiba shows off network enabled LCD screens

When CableCard just isn't enough, hook your TV to an Ethernet cable and download Video On Demand (over 7500 music videos of "pure karaoke pleasure") over your IPv6 ADSL connection.

And they don't stop there, the "Beautiful face" line of TV's, which Toshiba will be displaying publicly at CEATEC Japan 2005 feature full HD image processing with noise reduction and color correction, as well as a 178 degree viewing angle.

Ranging in size from 32" to 47", they can be had for as little as 2800 EUR ($3366), starting at the end of this month.  You'll have to find your own IPv6 connection though.
