Nextlink updates Bluespoon with AX2

If you liked the size of the Nextlink's Bluespoon AX headset, but didn't really care for its performance, you'll be pleased to know the company has updated it, sticking with the form-factor (which, of course, is no longer the world's — or
even Nextlink's — smallest) but upping the specs to Bluetooth 1.2, with range bumped up to a max of about 50 feet and battery life pushed to 8 hours. Pocketnow checked it out, and found that the improved range and battery life made it a worthy upgrade, but also pointed out that the lack of any kind of digital noise reduction circuitry makes it a little hard to use in noisy environments. And, of course, now that Nextlink's got the even smaller 5G out, why go back to this mammoth (other than the price, of course, which is about $70, compared to close to $400 for the 5G)?
