Azio Dual-Link Charger does USB, car lighter

We've seen a handful of hydra-headed chargers, which let you juice up your cellphone via USB, car cigarette lighter or other power sources, and we suspect that Azio's Dual-Link Charger isn't that unique. However, one thing about the product did catch our eye (and, no, it wasn't the fact that it comes in "the latest color combinations and translucent style options"). It's the claim that the charger has a
"built-in power amplifier" that "allows your phone charger to pull more current from your USB source for faster charge times." Frankly, we're not sure if we're worried or excited about this. Sure, we'd like to be able to charge our phone a little faster. But somehow the idea of a device like this attempting to suck more power out of a USB port than the port is capable of pumping out just doesn't sound like a great idea.
