Adaptec dual-tuner for WMCE

Previously the Adaptec Dual TV tuner for WMCE was only available with a computer bundle, but the times, they are a-changin'. Adaptec has wisely made their USB 2.0 external TV tuner available for individual purchase at a list price of $229. The dual-tuner is certified to work with Windows Media Center 2005 and would come in handy if you're building up a WMCE machine.

The external tuner is NTSC-only; you won't be using this to watch DTV or HDTV.  However, if you want to watch one analog channel and record another on your WMCE, the Adaptec unit allows for that thanks to the dual MPEG-2 hardware encoders. This would also get you past the silly WMCE limitation of requiring an NTSC tuner to configure your ATSC tuner. An included FM tuner and remote control add to the package, making this a fairly useful external add-on.
