Chatter Bug dongle brings VoIP to the masses

If you ask us, getting VoIP service is pretty easy, whether it's through a cable company, Skype or another provider. But, believe it or not, there are actually people out there for whom configuring internet telephony is actually a daunting proposition. Those are the customers for the Chatter Bug, a dongle that connects to any analog phone. Local and 911 calls connect through the customer's local phone provider, while long-distance calls are automatically routed over the internet. The service is expected to roll out nationally next month, with the Chatter Bug device selling for about $19.95, and unlimited calling in the US and Canada going for $9.95 per month.
