UT '07 is so relatively plausible, man [update:1]
Midway announced today that Unreal Tournament 2007 will be delayed until...um...2007. That in itself is no big deal. The big part of the news is contained in this snippet from the press release:
"The next gen version(s) have yet to be tagged with an exact ship date yet"
The parenthetical "S" says it all. Not version, versions, folks. When asked directly whether or not this confirmed the oft-rumored development of a 360 version of UT 2007, an Atari Midway spokesman spake thusly:
"Nothing is yet confirmed ... [but] I would say that your assumption is relatively plausible"
Sounds like a yes to me.
