Peerless's motorized plasma mount - MM860

We have seen motorized mounts before, but to be honest, we just love 'em so much that each time a new one hits the market, it sparks our imagination again. Can't you see this thing just pulling out from the wall ever so slowly and following you around your office as you work. That way, the set is always at the right angle for viewing. We know that they don't work that way but maybe if you have an RFID chip in your forehead and senors....nevermind. Anyways, Peerless has introduced their first motorized mount and work with just a touch of a button. The mount will hold up to a massive 60-inch screen as long as it is under the maximum weight of 180lbs. It will allow tilt, pan, and depth adjustments via a IR remote or RS-232 integration up to 12-inches from the wall. Plus, it pans up to 32 degrees and tilts 25 degrees down and 7 up. As cool as it maybe to control the location of your TV via a remote, we still would like to see an automatic one based on motion tracking. That would be sweet. This mount will be available in August for $2,199.
