All Points Bulletin video shows off fashion for the discerning thug

The team at Realtime Worlds has put out the 7th video podcast for their urban crime title All Points Bulletin, continuing their theme of focusing on customization options in the game. They've already shown us how we'll be able to embed symbols into everything from our clothing and vehicles or even our own skin.

This latest video podcast shows some of the fashion influences from their local city of Dundee, where they visit Arkive clothing, while showing a little more footage of the style that you can give your Criminal and Enforcer thugs in All Points Bulletin. Stick with us after the jump for the HD video embed.

After having seen this, beyond the camos and various urban motifs they've shown off, I'm very pleased to see it's possible to wear argyle socks while kicking ass in the mean streets. This is not a joke. Gun-toting Nirvana cheerleaders (as in Smells Like Teen Spirit) might just be running around the city as well from what they've shown.

On this topic of fine tuning your look, the Massively writers have been talking quite a bit amongst ourselves about APB. While we're really glad to see the depth of control you'll have over your appearance, looks are only skin deep right? We love the eye candy but also wish they'd throw in a bit more of the actual gameplay footage to put all these customization options in perspective. That said, what they've shown thus far is gorgeous. We can only hope that the core combat mechanics which Realtime Worlds has emphasized is of the same caliber as the game's various customization systems. If it is, a few of us here suspect that All Points Bulletin could really shake things up in the gaming industry.
