PSA: Come play Sonic Colors in Bryant Park today

It may be raining here in NYC today, but that doesn't mean Sega's canceling its Bryant Park Sonic Colors ice skating party. Well, okay, the ice skating part is kinda off, but that whole "playing Sonic Colors early and seeing Cash Cash perform the game's theme song" thing is still totally on.

From 6PM to 10PM this evening, Sega will take over Bryant Park's Citi Pond at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. Aside from giving fans a chance to check out Sonic Colors before its December 7 launch, the first 300 folks lining up will receive a Sonic the Hedgehog hat (worn here by Joystiq's own East Coast Editor Andrew Yoon). Additionally, a live performance from Sonic Colors theme song group Cash Cash will go down -- presumably not on the ice. If all that isn't excitement enough for you, perhaps you'd be interested in meeting a handful of Joystiq editors? Good, 'cause some of us will be there! We can appreciate your reticence, but we don't bite. Promise!

When: Thursday, November 4th, from 6PM to 10PM.

Where: Citi Pond at Bryant Park -- 42nd Street & 6th Avenue

Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Subway: Take the F, V, B, or D train to 42nd Street/Bryant Park, or Take the 7 to 5th Avenue
